Subject: Code of Conduct – Team Dugouts

Dear Team Representatives,

Welcome to the Indian Gully Cricket League (IGCL).

To ensure professionalism, discipline, and a world-class match-day experience, all participating franchises are required to comply with the following Team Dugout Regulations throughout the tournament.

The Team Dugout is an official match area reserved exclusively for registered players and authorized team officials. Only individuals whose names appear on the official Team Sheet approved by the Tournament Committee will be permitted inside the dugout during match play.

Authorized Personnel

Each franchise may have a maximum of 6 Team Officials inside the dugout during a match. The permitted officials are:

Head Coach
Assistant Coach
Team Manager
Physiotherapist / Medical Staff
Trainer / Strength & Conditioning Coach
Performance Analyst

* No other individual, including owners, guests, sponsors, photographers, influencers, or family members, is permitted inside the Team Dugout unless written approval has been granted by the IGCL Tournament Director.

Dugout Regulations

All players and officials shall:

•Maintain professional behaviour throughout the match.
•Respect umpires, match officials, opposition teams, and spectators.
•Remain within the designated dugout area unless entering the field of play with permission.
•Keep the dugout clean and free from litter.
•Follow all instructions issued by Match Officials and the Tournament Management.
•Avoid any action that may bring the league into disrepute.

Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

•Smoking, tobacco products, alcohol, or prohibited substances.
•Abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language.
•Arguing with umpires or match officials.
•Entering the field without authorization.
•Damaging league property or venue facilities.
•Interfering with live broadcast, cameras, or production staff.
•Using laser devices, air horns, or disruptive equipment inside the dugout.

Electronic Devices

Authorized team analysts may use laptops or tablets solely for match analysis. The use of communication devices to receive outside tactical assistance during live play is prohibited unless specifically approved under IGCL regulations.

Media & Broadcasting

No player or official may conduct live social media broadcasts, interviews, or promotional recordings from the dugout without prior approval from IGCL Media Operations.
